    Common questions

    Do I need a FamilySearch account?
    Yes. The stories come from written memories your family has uploaded to FamilySearch, so we need access to your tree to find them. It is free, and we only read your tree—we never change it. If you don't have an account, learn how to create one. A GEDCOM file won't work for this book, because GEDCOM files don't include memories.
    Do I have to write or design anything?
    No. This is a concierge book: Rememberkin finds the strongest written memories in your FamilySearch tree, retells them, designs the pages, and prepares the finished hardcover for you.
    What if my tree doesn't have enough stories?
    We aim for 15–20 stories and never deliver fewer than 12. If your tree does not have enough written memories yet, you receive a full refund.
    Where do the stories come from?
    Every story is based on a written memory already attached to someone in your FamilySearch tree, and the finished book cites the original memory.
    How long does it take?
    We create the book in 5–7 days. Once it ships, we'll email tracking so you can follow the delivery.
